Description
A raccoon, no more than 3 months old, hangs out in a tall tree in Ottawa's Mud Lake Conservation area.
The raccoon seemed to be holding itself up only with its one elbow inside a tree trunk, with little help from any hind legs on this warm spring afternoon.
While hanging out, it was grooming and chewing on tree bark, and once it got bored it would climb down and then back up again... mind you, not so gracefully.
Raccoons only develop their signature black mask when they reach 2.5 months old.
